Plant Care for Hanging Baskets of Ivy Geraniums

These plants have beautiful leaves and flowers. They come in a range of colors and do well in sunny spots.

Ivy Geraniums are best grown in full sun, or with at least 6-8 hours of sun a day. Lower light levels can leave plants stretching for light and with poor form and reduced flowering.

Geraniums are fairly heavy feeders and like a water-soluble fertilizer. For best performance, fertilize more than once a week with a water-soluble fertilizer. Avoid slow release fertilizers in cool weather. Removing old flowers helps maintain a cleaner plant.
