They are best grown in the morning sun, afternoon shade. Water daily, preferably in the morning to allow foliage to dry throughout the day. When we are experiencing hot weather, fuchsias will require more than one watering per day. Feed weekly with any water soluble fertilizer. Slow-release fertilizer also works well with fuchsias, but should ideally be a supplement to the water-soluble fertilizer.
